The hand hammered and hand tooled, copper medallion and panels adorning this spectacular, handcrafted, Western style bed can be modified to reflect any design that you would like. The headboard has a rectangular, solid wood frame, with a beautiful, top, crown molding. Centered in the crown molding is an ornate, hand carved, twist rope design. Below the crown molding is a large, circular, hand hammered, copper medallion, with a hand tooled Texas Lone Star in its center. The copper medallion is encircled by a hand carved, twist rope design, and it is surrounded by gorgeous, hand carved, floral designs. Centered in the upper headboard are fabulous, hand carved horns, and the horns extend across the entire headboard. The front of the headboard has a large, padded panel with a curved top, and the panel is covered with two types of rich, brown, patterned, full grain leather. The upper, slightly darker, patterned leather, is upholstered in a Western cut design, and a hand sewn, Spanish colonial style cross embellishes the lower leather. The upholstery is double stitched together for extra strength and durability. The headboard is framed by solid wood uprights, and the top of each upright is accented with hand carved, floral designs, hand forged, copper conchos, and with a hand turned sphere. The headboard rest on square cut legs. The footboard is built into a bench and the top of the bench has a staggered, top molding. Below the rim of the molding is an elegant, hand carved, twist rope design. The bench has a wide, rectangular seat back, and the seat back features two, geometric shaped panels, and each is covered with hand hammered copper. Each copper panel has in its center a hand tooled Texas Lone Star, and each star is surrounded by exquisite, hand tooled, floral and scroll designs. The panels are divided by a solid wood upright, and above the upright are ornate, hand carved, floral and scroll designs. The seat back is framed with robust, solid wood, side uprights, and each upright is topped with a hand carved, irregular sphere. The padded seat is upholstered with dark brown, full grain leather. The upholstery is hand tacked to the frame with beautiful, gilt nails, and the junctions of the upholstery are double stitched together for extra strength and durability. Below the seat is a colonial style, curved apron, and the apron is embellished with gorgeous, hand carved, floral designs and with ranch brands on its front. The top and bottom of the apron are adorned with hand carved, twist rope designs. The bench rest on hand turned, tapered feet. The bed has solid wood, side rails, and it has an antique finish.
